COLOUR OF THE YEAR
With Pantone’s colour of the year ‘Greenery’ at the forefront of design this summer and a colour trend for 2017, we couldn’t resist taking a look at what inspiration’s out there. Refreshing interiors this summer, the ever-growing trend is so easy to incorporate into your home. Versatile and luscious this colour has endless design possibilities. Why not go bold and inject dark hues into statement furniture or painted feature walls? Not quite ready to go bold? You can just as easily add accents of green into a room with exciting plants and foliage creating your very own indoor botanic jungle.
Introducing organic greenery adds a splash of this natural colour into the home, especially in living areas where green evokes a feeling of new beginnings and vitality, making for a happier, inviting environment. If you want to tone down and revitalise your décor, pair greens with soft neutral hues or pastel pinks for a calming vibe.
Green is also perfect for a study space. Adding leafy prints to neutral walls or hardy indoor plants on open shelves creates your very own office escape.
Our favourite greens include Neville Johnson’s very own paint colours: Inky Sky, Bay Leaf and Aloe Vera.
We’ve put together a Pinterest board of our favourite green décor. Take a look: here
