“The Wigmore Street showroom has changed significantly since I first started, we’re continuously updating our displays, striving to introduce new inspiring furniture ideas year after year.

Our showroom team are always available to provide expert design advice and product demonstrations. Events such as The Designer Weekend offer our customers an opportunity to discuss any projects in depth directly with our designers on the day.

Working in Wigmore Street is a real pleasure as it is such a popular destination with anyone embarking on a renovation project – it’s always a privilege to help people create their dream homes.

After a busy day at work, there are so many places in the area to enjoy – for classical music and art, Wigmore Hall and The Wallace Collection are very close by, with many lively cafes and restaurants of St Christopher’s Place and Marylebone High Street only a short walk away. There are so many interesting shops in the area too: I love browsing haberdashery at the VV Rouleaux and am a big fan of Anthropology homewares.”

Why not join us on Saturday and Sunday 21st January for our winter Designer Weekend. Enjoy a glass of prosecco whilst you chat to our specialist design experts and experience our stunning bespoke furniture and staircase designs for yourself.

Whether you’re in the area already, or planning a special trip we’ve listed a few of our favourite places to visit. From classic artwork, a world of shopping and divine gourmet food, the area around our Wigmore Street showroom has it all.

The Wallace Collection

Located around the corner from our showroom, housed in Manchester Squares historic Hertford House sits The Wallace Collection. A perfect cultural hub and one of London’s best kept secrets, The Wallace Collection houses 25 galleries full of French 18th-century paintings, furniture and Old Master paintings. As well as displaying stunning collections the building itself is worth a visit alone. The grandeur and details surrounding the exterior and within the interiors of each room make for magnificent viewing.

Chiltern Firehouse

Just a ten minute walk into Marylebone is Chiltern Firehouse, one of London’s newest celebrity hangouts. A former fire station, this Grade II listed gothic Victorian building has been transformed into a distinctive luxury hotel-restaurant, focused on dishing up spectacular food with a contemporary American fusion. This New York style brasserie is an excellent option for brunch with michelin-starred chef Nuno Mendes creating divine breakfast classics from buttermilk pancakes, french toast and eggs benedict. If you want something a little more opulent to match the luxurious surroundings try the soft boiled eggs with Ogleshield cheese & truffle soldiers. From the moment you walk past the impeccably dressed doorman you feel truly spoiled, although you have to move fast for reservations as this spot is one to go back to over and over.

Wigmore Hall

A stone’s throw away from our showroom is Wigmore Hall. Highly celebrated across Europe, this characterful music hall specialises in instrumental and chamber music holding exceptional performances from some of the world’s leading classical musicians. As well as the auditorium boasting excellent acoustics, supposedly some of the best in Europe, Wigmore Hall provides a stunning backdrop with art nouveau interior decor and a distinctive mural designed by English painter Gerald Moira. If you can’t spare time to visit in the evening, head to one of the Monday lunchtime recitals which is broadcast live on BBC Radio 3.

Shopping on Oxford Street

No trip to Central London is complete without a spot of shopping. A quick walk away from our Wigmore Street showroom is Selfridges and the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. If you want to visit independent shops away from the crowds, the Marylebone area is perfect. From the fashionable concept stores like Margaret Howell just around the corner or the famous Daunt Books store, there’s plenty of streets to explore.

Les 110 de Taillevent London

If you’re wanting to treat yourself to a fine glass of wine after visiting our showroom, Les 110 de Taillevent is an exceptional choice. Opposite our showroom, overlooking Cavendish Square this classic French brasserie boasts a staggering 110 wines by the glass. Dining at it’s finest, the composed menu shows off around 30 seasonally-inspired dishes each paired with a perfect wine match. It’s truly an experience you’ll want to enjoy again and again.

Our Wigmore Street showroom Designer Weekend will take place Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st January. You can find us at: 3 Wigmore St, Marylebone, London, W1U 1PB. Open Monday to Saturday 10.00am – 6.00pm.
